Museum Vaults was founded and created in Sunderland, United Kingdom by Monty Cantsin and Karen Elliot in 2007. The concept was simple: to view our geographical environment as being of critical importance, to represent selections of its artists’ work, offer it the highest value and register it at the most local and international levels of the global markets.

Museum Vaults is not only an online gallery. It derives its name from The Museum Vaults Public House, Hylton Road, Sunderland where its founders continue to develop the venture.

At present four Sunderland artists are represented. As we continue to grow, we hold steadfast in our dedication to providing our visitors and customers an unparalleled engagement with contemporary art.
