Born in 1967 Misteraitch is an auto-didact. His work develops those approaches to photo-montage and mail art that comment directly on the most repressive political attitudes of the time. At once acerbic, critical and humorous his work offers the viewer a recognition of the rotting context of life as lived under terms of the new Empire.His own personal website introduces us to his particular take on his own biography:

Running home from a Frank Zappa concert, a dark clad, hook nosed lady burst from the shadows and gunned down British industry… His tombstone has already been picked out, and serves as a couch for the family. On it is emblazoned “His art was in the right place”

Prolific in his exploitation of digital manipulations of the ‘stamp’ and ‘poster’, his work forms a new agit-prop.
